- Between plane trips and ski runs I Garden, bake, cook and continue to find endless decorating projects. This Blog is an extemporaneous presentation of those efforts. I hope you enjoy my sometimes quirky, sometimes blunt, usually amusing-but always informative, assessments of topics that are associated with what are commonly referred to as "the practical arts". I have spent the last 35 years gathering knowledge in the areas of food, gardening and design. Having become somewhat of a walking encyolpedia, this blog gives me an opporuntity to share easily this knowledge with others that may be looking to dabble in one or more of these areas. Hope you enjoy the posts. I aim to make them informative and entertaining. But I won't be spending lots of time wordsmithing as that would just take too much time away from doing all those projects that seem to pop up!
